Initial Situation
Context
The client is a French expat of Vietnamese origin, based in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2021, he and his brother launched an agri-tech project: a snail farm producing snail mucus powder used as an active ingredient for cosmetic manufacturing.
The Problem
They already had a website, but it created friction instead of leverage.
- Static website with rigid structure
- Slow and costly updates via an external dev team
- Difficult communication with designers and developers
- No easy way to manage translations
- Website disconnected from sales and marketing efforts
Solution Provided
The Mission
Turn the website into a simple, flexible, multilingual sales tool, without blowing the budget.
My Role
Fractional Digital Project Manager (end-to-end): content, structure, tooling, and delivery.
The Approach
I used a first-principles PM approach: if the website cannot be updated easily by the founders, it will never scale.
- Rebuilt the site on WordPress for autonomy and flexibility
- Structured content for clarity, credibility, and conversions
- Produced content in three languages (FR / EN / VN)
- Reworked visuals with more professional imagery
- Designed pages to support sales conversations, not just “look good”
- Set up Google Analytics and Google Business Profile (Maps) for visibility and tracking
Execution
Timeline: 4 to 8 weeks
Method: tight scope, fast feedback loops, zero unnecessary features, and focus on outcomes (not tech vanity).
Results and Benefits
Results
- Website launched in three languages
- Founders became autonomous for content updates
- Clearer positioning and stronger credibility
- Website integrated into their sales and marketing flow
- Traffic and visibility became measurable
- Reduced dependency on external developers
Growth Perspective
Long-Term Impact
The collaboration didn’t end at launch. We built trust and kept a good relationship. If they need quick edits or small changes, I can jump in and help.
Why This Matters
This project shows that digital project management is not about tools. It’s about simplifying decisions, reducing friction, giving ownership back to founders, and shipping fast without sacrificing quality.
