Remember yesterday I said this:

Tomorrow I want to talk about “the zero” and especially to talk about failures. Because if there is one useful thing of having a “zero” within us, is that he is good at teaching us failure.

Failure is a big part of the entrepreneur’s life.

So I want to focus on the importance of acknowledging your failures and accepting them. Embrace your failures and the “zero” within you.

I wanted to make a reminder for entrepreneurs who feel like a zero, like a failure.

Please consider this:

First, congratulate yourself for your attempt.

You may not be a hero yet, but you’ve made the effort to stand up for yourself and tried. Trying, to me, appears like a huge breakthrough: you made a practical attempt to something that you only saw in your imagination.

Second, accept the result of this failed attemp.

It’s time to review your results and accept both of your achievements, even if there is ONE, and your failures. List them down and start looking for ways to avoid it next time.

The biggest mistake you could make is to ignore your failures and try to cover them up.

Remember that as a business owner, you are trying to solve a person’s problem.

Your customers have problems that you are trying to solve. So if you have problems, it’s normal… Dealing with this is entirely part of your mission.

Lastly, consider each failure as a lesson.

Who doesn’t like to learn something new? If you are passionate about the problem you are trying to solve, you must be determined to learn as much as you can about your field of expertise, right?

Then your failures are your best source of lessons. You probably heard “learned the hard way” well… My biggest mistakes, the ones that costed me the most, are the ones that taugh me the best life lessons I could have ever imagine.

While writing this, I realised that sometimes, the hardest is to deal with your surroundings. So tomorrow we will deal with this question: “What if others around you blame you for this failure?” It’s going to be the perfect opportunity for talking about negativity in your relationships.
