Here is what I implemented recently to reduce my stress
Things I started
- Batching my work into days. Monday, I work on Project A, Tuesday on Project B, etc. I don't do a bit of both A and B everyday anymore.
- Leaving my phone turned-off on the kitchen table from 6pm to 6am.
- Doing 20 minutes of mobility exercise every day to cure my herniated disk.
- Using a wireless microphone to record videos.
- Paying 100$ per month for an AI assistant.
I also stopped
- Watching the world cup. It destroy my sleep.
- Eating lunch. I only get breakfast and dinner.
- Worrying about the future with AI, by acting on it.
- Pursuing all my ideas. Now I focus on one persona, one problem.
And I’m keeping
- My Notion subscription. Especially Notion Calendar.
- My beach-family life in Danang.
- My big smile.
- My coffee in the morning.
As you can see, all these actions are very small. But stack them up all together and you get a happy entrepreneur ; confident and effective.
But don't get fooled. Stress is an emotion, so it's temporary. There is no magic pill to end your anxiety. You have to work on it, everyday.
And that's exactly what I'm doing.
